展览展讯：
        艺·凯旋艺术空间即将主办潘德海2008-2009新作展，为大家所熟知的《都市系列》又将增添新的成员。
潘德海的生命个体“苞米人”已被安排到具体的生存环境中，然而被淡化了代表生命要素的“玉米颗粒”的胖子一直是潘德海对当今社会存在问题的思索。

 

      近年来，城市的快速发展，生活在艺术家笔下的胖子也随之为生活变得忙碌起来。无论是体态的臃肿，还是因物质驱使而欲望横流的胖子，都是现代化城市进程遗留下来我们无法回避的问题。“都市”系列是艺术家将胖子置于这些现实生活的场景中，继而将观者投入在场性的语境，籍此让观者更好的理解艺术家对待这一问题的看法。

A quick look at this exhibition:
        2008-2009 New Work Exhibition – Pan Dehai is going to be held at Triumph Art Space, which will add new members to the well-known City Series. 

        Pan Dehai’s creature, “Corn Man”, has been placed in the concrete environment of life; however, the corn grains, which represent elements of life, become dimmer and transform to a fat man who has always been Pan Dehai’s thinking on issues existed in the current society. 

        In recent years, the rapid development of the city has made Pan’s fat man bustle about. Whether overstaffed posture or the strong desired fat man driven by materials, they are both embodiment of the unavoidable problems left by the urbanization. In City Series, these fat men and viewers are situated in the real life by the artist, and thereby, the viewers can better understand artist’s opinion towards this issue.

        Let’s hold our breath, stop with the“ fat man”, and take a break…
